Update on Frilly Lizard's Renovations

We're very excited to tell everyone that the renovations are going amazing and it won't be long before we will move into our new digs right next door at 360 Talbot Street.
We're hoping to be open either at the end of next week or the week of March 5th.
It's a totally new look and I think everyone will love it as much as we do!!!
We will be introducing some brand new lines for the new look. Designers Eve Gravel, Annie 50, & Psylo.
Lots of new accessories and the newest addition, the coolest giftware from IMM Living & Indaba.
We will carry a terrific collection of greeting cards as well.
I will keep you informed as it gets closer to the opening day.

Re-inventing Frilly Lizard

It's been really exciting the last few weeks. Even though it was tough closing down Commander Salamander, it was bittersweet as I was looking forward to all the changes I had been envisioning for Frilly for a long time.
We're going to unveil a new logo very soon. And we have busy worker bees transforming the interior of where Commander was, as that is where we are moving Frilly Lizard. So our new address will be 360 Talbot Street.
I will give everyone little sneak peaks as the days go on, but I will tell you that the concept was hatched when I received an original photograph of famous 60's model, Twiggy, and my imagination just went wild after that.
We will still have all your favourite lines, Yumi, Vero Moda, Numph, Smash, Bettie Page to name a few but we are introducing some great new designers this Spring.
We will have new neighbours and I will tell you a bit about that next time.
We hope to be in our new digs sometime mid-February as everything is going along great.
I can hardly wait for everyone to see it!!!

Just in...Vero Moda Heaven!!! (Vero rhymes with camaro)
The staff are finally getting through the 12 boxes and out has come the most fantastic dresses, tops, and jackets. Be the first in to check it all out!
Pictured above, this dress also comes in a blue mix and retails at $39.
It's hard to believe that this line from Denmark can produce such up-to-the -minute styles for so little.

Lovely Lovely Dresses!

It's the beginning of a new season of dresses. With the holidays and Fall formals right around the corner, Frilly has received some beautiful new dresses this week. Big trends for this season include lace, sequins and lots of chiffon. We are seeing very 50"s & 60's inspired silhouettes and, on the other side of the spectrum, some 80's glam too. I love the juxtaposition of two such diverse trends.
I am looking forward to seeing palazzo pants and midi length dresses too.
Nude is still one of the strongest colour trends followed closely by deep colour bursts of purple, teal, & fuchsia. Red is making a big comeback too.
New colours of the popular Infinity Dress will be arriving in the coming weeks as well.
